EBCF commissioned writer Mia Gallagher to curate a special show from the Arts Council Collection in Visual Arts to exhibit at glór during the Festival and to write a short story inspired by the artwork. Metamorphosis: Characters in Collision, is the title of the show she has created including works by Alice Maher, Dorothy Cross, and Brian Maguire.

Book Making Workshop

In this 2-hour workshop, conducted by Éilís Murphy, a visual artist and bookbinder living in Corofin, Co. Clare, participants will create a variety of sewn books that can be used as poetry books, journals or sketchbooks. Participants will also gain knowledge of how to use basic book binding tools and the principles of bookbinding including grain direction, gluing and folding tips.
