Henrietta McKervey’s first novel What Becomes Of Us (Hachette Books Ireland) was published to rave reviews. Set in RTÉ in 1966, it is the story of a young single mother and her life-changing encounter with a woman who for fifty years kept secret her involvement in the 1916 Rising. She won the Hennessy First Fiction Award in 2015 and the inaugural UCD Maeve Binchy Travel Award in 2014. Her second book The Heart of Everything, the story of a woman who disappears and how her fractured family try to find her, is scheduled for spring 2016.
