Richard Tillinghast lives in a remote part of Tipperary on the slopes of Sliabh na mBan with his partner, Grace Wells, a poet and author of novels for children whose book Gyrfalcon was given the Eilis Dillon Book of the Year award for 2002-2003. In addition to writing, they garden and travel extensively. Richard is also a trout fisherman who favours the Nore River.
