Vincent Woods, playwright, poet and broadcaster presents The Arts Show on RTE Radio One. His plays include At The Black Pig’s Dyke, A Cry from Heaven and Song of The Yellow Bittern. A member of Aosdána, his poetry collections are The Colour Of Language and Lives and Miracles. He co-edited The Turning Wave, an anthology of the poetry and song of Irish Australia and received the 2002 Ted McNulty poetry award. Vincent has been writer in residence at NUI Galway and with Mayo County Council.
